Slow Down in Rainy Weather

Inclement weather can be a headache to say the least, but many people actually aren’t as cautious as they should be when it comes to driving in rainy weather.
Although rainy weather isn’t typically as hazardous as driving or ice or snow, the truth is that severe, and sometimes fatal, accidents often occur in rainy weather.
As such, it is important to slow down in the event of rain drops and to use headlights whenever possible. Though a relaxing drive in the rain is often commonplace, “zoning out” or daydreaming on the road in these sorts of conditions may send you hydroplaning at a time when you least expected it.
If you do find yourself in a hydroplane, carefully guide your steering wheel in the direction of the spin. Whatever you do, avoid turning your wheel in the opposite direction, or in many directions, as doing so may cause your vehicle to flip.
